Poisonous materials shall be kept locked or made inaccessible to individuals.The provider and the program specialist met with Associate Director to review and receive training on storing poisonous materials. The AD reviewed the necessity to read and follow the ISP which stated the individual could not avoid poisons. The program specialist is to ensure that all Health and Safety risks have been addressed with the provider. The program specialist with conduct monthly and quarterly visits with the provider using the licensing instrument tool to ensure all risk mitigations are being adhered to. 12/30/2013 Implemented

The information specified in subsection (a) shall be logged immediately after each individual's dose of medication.The provider and the program specialist met with Associate Director to review and receive training on medication management. The AD reviewed the process of administering and recording medication on the MAR. The program specialist is to ensure that all medication administration protocols are being followed. The program specialist with conduct monthly and quarterly visits with the provider using the licensing instrument tool to ensure medication is being administered as stated by the regulations.
