6400.101There was a doorknob equipped with an inward-facing key-lock on the door leading to the home's sunroom, which provides egress from the home via one door that leads outside to the home's front driveway and one door to the homes garage, which has a rear door that leads to the home's side yard. Due to the orientation of the locking doorknob on the door to the sunroom, these means of egress from the home would be blocked during a fire or other emergency for any individuals or staff who did not have the key on their person.Stairways, halls, doorways, passageways and exits from rooms and from the building shall be unobstructed.
