| 6400.168(d) | Staff #1 did not have a medication practium completed within the regulatory time frame- 2/27/13 & 4/17/14. Staff #1 administered medications between 2/27/14 & 4/17/14. | A staff person who administers prescription medications and insulin injections to an individual shall complete and pass the Medications Administration Course Practicum annually. | The Relias Learning System, CSG's electronic training software now has alerts going to the staff informing them of their due dates for Medication Practicums. The alerts begin 60 days prior and continue until the staff has completed the training. Supervisors will also receive an alert. In addition to these alerts, managers have been instructed to run their own reports and create email reminders for their staff's due dates. |
