The ISP also states that the individual has up to three hours alone time in the home which he does utilize. Because the individual requires verbal assistance to evacuate and spends up to three hours per day alone in the home, the home is required to conduct fire drills every three months until the individual can safely evacuate in under 2 and ½ minutes without family assistance. | A fire drill shall be held at least every 3 months, until all individuals demonstrate the ability to evacuate within 2 1/2 minutes, or within the period of time specified in writing within the past year by a fire safety expert, without family assistance, or with family assistance if the individual is never alone in the home.
