6400.68(b) | On 5/16/24, at approximately 10:25 AM, at the bathtub in the staff bathroom, the water temperature measured at 125.4 degrees Fahrenheit. | Hot water temperatures in bathtubs and showers may not exceed 120°F. | 1. On the day of inspection the water tank for that bathroom was turned down and the water temp was tested at the correct temperature by the agency maintenance personnel.
2. Digital thermometers will be purchased for all community homes by Kathy Lee, Program Director.
3. A sign off sheet and schedule for monthly water testing for all community homes will be created and disseminated by Program Director.
4. Direct care staff will be trained on the new water testing schedule and the testing document by Program Specialists for each home. |
