6400.68(b)The water temperature in the shower measured 125 degrees Fahrenheit. Hot water temperatures in bathtubs and showers may not exceed 120°F. Water temperatures are currently taken in every licensed residential home twice a month- one time as part of the Monthly Site Inspection (referenced as attachment #2) and again as part of the monthly Fire Drill that are conducted by the Leadership team. The water temperature in the shower at this location had been tested following this frequency and continued to read under the allowable temperature of 120 degree at each test. Recognizing that water temperatures can sometime fluctuate, in order to ensure that the hot water was brought down below 120, on 9/12/2025, the supervisor turned down the temperature on the water heater which reduced the water temperature of below 120 degrees based on multiple tests (Attachment #3- video of running water temperature). Throughout the week of 9/15/2025, the supervisor returned to the home three times at various times of the day to verify that the water temperature has continued to remain below 120 degrees and has identified no reading over 120 degrees. 09/12/2025 Implemented
