6400.68(b)Water temperature in bathtub was measured to be 123.5 degrees F. Hot water temperatures in bathtubs and showers may not exceed 120°F. The water temperature was reduced at the water heater by Excentia¿s maintenance staff immediately following the inspection on 5/3/18. Staff took water temperatures on the dates and times as follows: 5/3: 120° at 3:30pm 120° at 6:30pm 5/4: 117° at 6:15am 118° at 2:30pm 5/5: 116° at 3:00pm 118° at 8:00pm 5/6: 120° at 12:00pm 118° at 3:00pm 118° at 8:00pm 5/7: 119° at 7:00am 113° at 10:25am 117° at 11:15am For prevention of future occurrences, the hot water will be checked twice a week for the next month to ensure a consistent reading of 120° or below is maintained and monthly thereafter. Should at any time the water temperature read above 120°, staff will alert maintenance and they will reduce the temperature at the water heater and all individuals will be alerted as to the temperature as all 3 ladies in the home temper water independently. 05/07/2018 Implemented
