6400.101This home's basement had a means of egress via a door that led to stairs that led up to hatch-style doors that led into the home's backyard. The door leading from the basement to the stairs was blocked from opening fully by a coffee table that was positioned against the nearby wall. With the coffee table in this position, the door could only open a bit more than halfway, obstructing this means of egress from the basement.Stairways, halls, doorways, passageways and exits from rooms and from the building shall be unobstructed.
