If one or more individuals or staff persons are not able to hear the smoke detector or fire alarm system, all smoke detectors and fire alarms shall be equipped so that each person with a hearing impairment will be alerted in the event of a fire. The bed shaker does work, but it is delayed a bit as it is wired to the 2nd floor alarm. When the 1st floor alarms goes off, it take a few seconds for the 2nd floor alarm to also go off. Originally the individual¿s bedroom was on the second floor. She has since moved to the 1st floor. An electrician was scheduled for last week but never showed. A different electrician is scheduled for 7/25/23 at 2:30pm. The electrician is reaching out to Silent Call Communications (manufacturer of the bed shaker) to see if there is a code he isn¿t aware of or possibly the transmitter is going bad. We anticipate the situation will be rectified sooner, but gave a completion date of 8/31/23. 08/31/2023 Implemented
