6400.63(a) | On 5/29/25 at 10:04 AM, the hot water temperature at the sink in the bathroom at the far right of the house, was measured at 123.2°F. | Heat sources, such as hot water pipes, fixed space heaters, hot water heaters, radiators, wood and coal-burning stoves and fireplaces, exceeding 120°F that are accessible to individuals, shall be equipped with protective guards or insulation to prevent individuals from coming in contact with the heat source. | On Tuesday June 17, 2025, the Facility Manager checked the temperature on the water heater in the Bonaire home and found that it was at higher temperature that is allowed for compliance. On June 17, 2025, the Facility Manger turned the temperature down. The water temperature was checked by the House Coordinator on June 17, 2025. The water temperature recorded was 116 degrees. The house staff will complete monthly water temperature checks. |
