The physical examination shall be completed, signed and dated by a licensed physician, certified nurse practitioner or licensed physician's assistant. hy is this regulation important? Regulation 6400.151The physical wellness of the employee and free of communicable diseases to protect the employee and peer. The employee's health is important to provide excellent care of the participant. What Happened? Employee physicals were late. Physicals are to be done on or before the date of the last physical every 2 years according to 6400.151-152. Why did it happen? HRD has sent notices 90-60-and 30-day with forms out. She has communicated those dates with the COA and CPO. According to the 6400 151 -152 regulation there is no grace period for the month due but to the day. What do we do right now? The HRD has put in place a report that shows every employee's due date for their bi-annual physicals. The report is run every two weeks and reminders will go out the last 30 days weekly prior to the date due. Reminders will go out monthly at 90 and 60 days prior. In the reminder emails state the regulation and the date that it is due. 06/17/2026 Implemented
