The medications in both bottles were the same medication, strength, dosage instructions and prescriber as the expired labels on the bottles the staff person was using.
The medication Pravastatin Sodium, 40 mg. tablets, has a current prescription order but the bottle that the medication was stored in was labeled as filled on 3/05/2019 with an expiration date of 3/04/2020. The medication Tamsulosin Hcl, 0.4 mg. capsules, has a current prescription order but the bottle that the medication was stored in was labeled as filled on 5/04/2021 with an expiration date of 4/04/2022. | Prescription and nonprescription medications shall be kept in their original labeled containers.
