| 6400.63(a) | On 1/15/2026 at 10:45AM, the hot water temperature measured 123.4 degrees Fahrenheit at the sink in the bathroom of the home. | Heat sources, such as hot water pipes, fixed space heaters, hot water heaters, radiators, wood and coal-burning stoves and fireplaces, exceeding 120°F that are accessible to individuals, shall be equipped with protective guards or insulation to prevent individuals from coming in contact with the heat source. | On 1/15/206, management team reached out to the property Management to lower the water temp. Later that evening 5pm it was rechecked and measured at 120. At 9pm it was measured at 117. On 1/23/26 CEO went to the Property management and discussed ways to address the water temp due to the temp constantly changing. Property Management agree to try utilize a protective guard to prevent burning and will place it on the pipes. A temp gauge can't be used due to it regulating all the water heaters in the building itself. |
