This was corrected at the time of visit, and all ammunition was relocated to a separate locked, storage cabinet. | Firearms shall be kept unloaded in a locked cabinet. Ammunition shall be kept in a locked cabinet that is separate from firearms. | At the time of the licensing visit, all ammunition was removed from the lockbox containing the handgun and relocated to a separate locked storage cabinet. The firearm was verified to be unloaded and secured in its own locked cabinet. Attachments #2 & #3.
The Compliance Director reviewed the firearm and ammunition storage requirements with the responsible household staff and management team. The agency also inspected the storage arrangement to verify that firearms and ammunition are maintained in separate locked cabinets, as required. Documentation of the correction and staff review will be maintained in the agency's licensing records. |
