· Fire safety training will be provided to all new individuals on the day of admission using an approved video module and verbal review by staff.
· The training will cover evacuation routes, meeting locations, fire alarm sounds, responsibilities during drills, and smoking safety procedures.
· The "Fire Safety Training" checkbox will be added to the Admission Checklist to ensure it is completed before the individual is considered fully admitted.
· Documentation of training (including signature of staff and individual or representative) will be filed in the individual's program record on day of admission.
· Program Specialist will review all current admissions to confirm documentation is present and complete by 11/10/25. |
