| 6400.77(c) | At the time of the inspection, there was no first aid manual located in the first aid kit. | A first aid manual shall be kept with the first aid kit. | This regulation is important because having a complete and accessible first aid kit is necessary in the event of an injury. What happened in this violation was that our first aid kit did not have a first aid manual with it. This happened because this was a new house, and when the first aid kit was created for the home we were out of manuals. The first aid kit was completed otherwise and placed in the home, and no staff remembered to obtain the missing manual. A manual was placed on the first aid kit the day it was discovered to be missing during inspections. |
