6400.112(c) | The fire drill record for the fire drill held 7/13/17 did not include the amount of time it took for evacuation. | A written fire drill record shall be kept of the date, time, the amount of time it took for evacuation, the exit route used, problems encountered and whether the fire alarm or smoke detector was operative. | All program Coordinators will be in-serviced on making sure that a fire drill will be completed on a monthly basis at each home, and the fire drill record will be completed during the time of the fire drill. The fire drill record must contain the date and time the drill was conducted, the amount of time it took to exit the house, the exit used during the evacuation, and who participated in the evacuation. All questions listed on the fire drill must be answered as well. This in-service will be completed by November 27, 2017.
The Program Coordinator Manager will review the completed fire drill record monthly to ensure all the information on the fire drill record are complete and correct in order to prevent reoccurrence of future similar deficiencies.
[Documentation of trainings shall be kept. Documentation of monthly reviews shall be kept. At least quarterly for 1 year, a designated management staff person shall audit a 10% sample of monthly fire drill records to ensure fire drills are conducted and documented as required.
