6400.67(b)At the time of inspection, there was a golf-ball-sized collection of lint in the dryer lint trap. The collection of lint in the dryer lint trap creates an increased risk of fire within the home. The stairs leading down into the home's basement were coated with a significant amount of what appeared to be a mixture of dust and crushed chunks of chipped-off paint and plaster that had come loose from the walls of the stairwell over a long period of time. This detritus, which was sand-like and gritty, could easily cause a person traversing the stairs to slip and fall. Detritus of the same appearance and texture also coated several areas of the floor throughout the home's basement. Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces shall be free of hazards. The dryer lint was removed from the dryer lint trap immediately upon discovery. The basement was swept and cleared of detritus on 2/11/2023. 02/11/2023 Implemented
