After December 31, 2023, untrained staff can only become qualified to administer medications by using the online Medication Administration Training Course. The agency stated that there was a glitch in the system, however An ODP Announcement 24-064 Update, publication dated 6/28/24, updated 10/9/24, Medication Administration Notification of System Upgrade and Lock-out period Starting October 10,2024. The Medication Administration system will be undergoing a system upgrade starting Thursday, October 10, 2024, and ending Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 9:00am.
