6400.112(d)The fire drill held on 1-10-22 at 11:00AM had an evacuation time of 4 minutes and 20 seconds. The fire drill held on 2-17-22 at 12:00AM had an evacuation time of 3 minutes. The home does not have an extended evacuation time. Individuals shall be able to evacuate the entire building, or to a fire safe area designated in writing within the past year by a fire safety expert, within 2 1/2 minutes or within the period of time specified in writing within the past year by a fire safety expert. The fire safety expert may not be an employe of the home or agency. Staff assistance shall be provided to an individual only if staff persons are always present at the home while the individual is at the home. Staff will have until the 25th of every month to perform the monthly fire drill. Once the fire drill is complete the staff will email the fire drill to the program specialist to ensure that the Fire Drill meets all necessary requirements within this regulation. Once checked by the Program Specialist they will initial/date the fire drill to ensure that they have checked and met all requirements. If they find that all requirements are not met they will instruct he staff to perform another Fire Drill within the designated time frame.
