| 6400.112(a) | Individual #1 was residing in the home, beginning as a respite on 6/17/24 and through 8/16/24. As of 7/18/24 the provider was responsible to ensure compliance with all regulatory items. A fire drill should have been conducted for the month of July 2024. There was no record of a fire drill being completed in July 2024. | An unannounced fire drill shall be held at least once a month. | LVCC was unaware of the circumstances surrounding the respite requirements after 31 days when the extension requirements of respite care is permitted by the county. Moving forward LVCC will comply with the states regulations in the event a respite care exceeds 31 days to prevent recurrence and to be in compliance with state regulations. |
